MONTHLY MINUTES
April 12, 2008


The meeting was called to order at 7:10 p.m. There were 10 people in attendance.

The minutes of the March meeting were unanimously approved.

Treasurer's report: $423.40 on hand. There are no outstanding debts.

Z&P Report: Northside Federal Savings bank plans to build a parking lot at 1475 W. Foster. The location is currently occupied by a 2-flat.
Earth Day: There will be an event at Loyola University.

Home addresses on garages campaign: The web site is updated. Sue made flyers in English and Spanish. The block club will see what the response is to the web site before flyering.

CAPS: Special speaker next week: 911 commander.

Pastor Jim leaving: He will still be around. A motion was made to make a contribution to the after school program. A $50 donation was unanimously approved.

Garage sale on the 19th at EBC. Drop off starts on Monday from 10 am - 8 pm.

Heather Steans is coming to the block club on July 9th.

Gripes: litter, flyers

GRIP: Roy announces that GRIP is approaching. An email will be sent out with the date.

The meeting was adjourned at 8:15 p.m.
