MONTHLY MINUTES
DECEMBER 10, 2003


The meeting was called to order at 7:06 p.m.

The minutes and treasurer's report were approved.

Gethsemane Garden Center will be at the January meeting to discuss plans of development of two houses on Victoria for a parking lot.

A proposal for a parking and traffic committee meeting on January 7 was mentioned.

Website is up and running. Photos and links will be added before the January meeting.

The use of post-it notes instead of customized agenda distribution will be voted on at the January meeting.

The downzone is still in committee.

Zoning and Planning update--they are discussing the formation of a task force to examine development in the area.

There is a Broadway Armory meeting on January 27th to discuss the plans for the redevelopment of that site.

CAPS update--the Elmdale house has been sold. The courtyard apartment building on Victoria has been secured properly. The murder victim on Ridge was a gang member and suspects are being sought for the crime.

The new speed humps on Hollywood between Glenwood and Ridge/Wayne are being questioned at the Alderman's office.
