FEBRUARY 11, 2004
Meeting was called to order at 7:06 p.m.
Motion to approve minutes and treasurer's report was seconded and approved.
Presentation of Gethsemane Garden center. Showed plans of new expansion. The parking and traffic committee voted to approve the proposed plan.
The motion to approve the plan of Gethsemane Garden Center with the clause that the three parcels purchased by Gethsemane will revert to the current residential zoning of the neighborhood when Gethsemane changes ownership.
Results: 19 Yes, 0 No, 0 abstentions

Elections of officers by ballot. All candidates were unopposed. Joe Teller-President, Michael Lauzon-Vice President, Yvonne Dennard-Treasurer, Dana Ross-Secretary.
Update from Parking and Traffic committee--Proposal of Gethsemane Garden Center was debated and approved.
Update from CAPS--No new updates for our beat.
Education Committee--Proposal to form an Education committee will be discussed at next meeting
Neighborhood Capital Budget committee is having a meeting next month
Phone numbers for Amendment 6 for SB1498 were given out--Springfield 217-782-5350 Chicago 773-581-8000.
Project in the works at 5814 N. Ridge and 5775 N. Glenwood building. It is a 28 unit building with commercial space at ground level. The owner/manager would like to convert the space to a theatrical community center.
There is a meeting coming up for the traffic calming project on Ridge.
No new updates from Broadway Armory planning and development.
