EDGEWATER TRIANGLE NEIGHBORS ASSOCIATION
MONTHLY MINUTES
November 14, 2007

The meeting was called to order at 7:08 p.m. There were 15 people in attendance.

The minutes of the October meeting were unanimously approved.

ECC Ad: ECC forgot to run the ETNA ad in the GALA companion book. They refunded our $125 and will run an ad in the newsletter for free. ETNA unanimously voted to give the money to Care For Real.

Bryn Mawr: Craig Chambers gave some ideas on how to slow traffic on Bryn Mawr. Some new residents on Bryn Mawr are concerned about traffic. Chris Lawrence made a motion to have skip dashes put on the street. It is unanimously approved.

Graffitti: There is a lot of graffitti on the alley east of Clark. Residents should call 311 when spotted.

Update on flyer law: no update.

Officers: Mark Ross and Joe Teller will stay in office for another year. This action is unanimously approved.

Speed Humps: A neighbor on Victoria contacted the Aldermans office about speed humps for the alley between Victoria and Edgewater. No speed bumps can be put in this alley.

Elections: Carol Ronen is retiring as state representative. Chris Lawrence would like to organize a debate among the candidates and involve other block clubs. People seem interested. Chris will talk to the candidates.

Curb side recycling: Meeting is tomorrow. No one is sure when we will get this service.

Firehouse: No new date for next meeting.

Next meeting: Pot luck

The meeting was adjourned at 8:16 p.m.
