EDGEWATER TRIANGLE NEIGHBORS ASSOCIATION MONTHLY MINUTES OCTOBER 8, 2003

Meeting called to order at 7:09 p.m.

Minutes and Treasurer's report approved.

The alderman's office is hosting a "wish list" party. Items for the ETNA wish list were discussed.

The website domain name has been purchased. The website address is etnabc.org. Content and layout for the website were discussed.

CAPS update: Letter to the precinct captain was read. It will be circulated and signatures gathered to garner support for increased police patrol in ETNA.

Broadway Armory development update: ECC is getting involved in the project and ECOC is also involved. There is an advisory council to the Park District to ensure neighborhood's needs are met with the renovation.

There was a proposal for flyer distribution through the end of this year with the agenda, then progress to post it note distribution with location and time/date of meetings and then use the website for the agenda.

It was noted that we need a Vice President.

It was also suggested that a membership/business development committee is formed.

Tax protests will be filed through ECC for the Board of Review from which relief, if any, is most likely to come.
