EDGEWATER TRIANGLE NEIGHBORS ASSOCIATION MONTHLY MINUTES October 10, 2007

The meeting was called to order at 7:10 p.m. There were 15 people in attendance.

The minutes of the September meeting were unanimously approved.

Edgewater Historical Society: LeRoy Blommart gave presentation on 6018 Kenmore. A developer is seeking alley acess from Z&P so that the house can be torn down and replaced with an 8 story condo building. LeRoy is looking for block club support at Z&P to vote against the variance. Sue Morales makes a motion to instruct the ETNA delegate to support LeRoy. Vote: 12 aye, 0 Nay, 1 abstain. Leroy also talked about a proposal to provide historical protection for Broadway/Bryn Mawr 5 corners intersection buildings.

Housing Committee update: Owner of 1426 Berwyn is being taken to court for code violations.

ECC annual Gala is on Nov. 3rd. 22 members of ETNA have purchased tickets.

November is election for secretary and treasurer.

Passing of Maria Colello: Rosa motions to make a $50 donation to the humane society in Mari's name. Passes unanimously.
