EDGEWATER TRIANGLE NEIGHBORS ASSOCIATION MONTHLY MINUTES September 10, 2008


Meeting is called to order at 7:09. There are 23 people in attendance.

Treasurer's Report: $324.80 on hand with a $60 check outstanding.

No Z&P or P&D update.

Alderman's Transportation Committee report: The Alderman is thinking of changes for the EL stations and development around them.

5732 N. Ridge building: The condo association needs a zoning change from r3 to r5 to repair their back steps. A motion to approve upzone passes 12 to 1 with 4 abstentions.

Victoria resident's complaints about Gethsemene: Mr. Henderson discussed some of the ongoing issues with Gethsemene including parking. He will try to reason with Regis.

Shooting on Hollywood: Undersireable activity at Bong Cafe and Hookah lounge spilling out into neighborhood. Many recent incidence in the area.

Firehouse update: Will not be moving for a while. Park district will take over old firehouse when it is empty.

Elections update: No one is running.

Con-Con will be on the ballot in November.
